Michaele Lockhart is an author, editor, avid reader, and a passionate historian whose primary interests are the period surrounding World War II and U.S. western history. Michaele’s compelling style captures the essence of contemporary history. The novels and short stories of this southwestern author reflect her passionate interests and diverse background.
Currently living in Tucson, Arizona, Michaele is acutely aware of the need for contemporary fiction that portrays and appeals to the vast spectrum of today’s multi-generational readers. A registered nurse and former teacher, Lockhart is also a talented landscape and nature photographer.
Among current writing projects are a mystery-suspense series set in today’s Southwest and a collection of short stories based on memoirs of her family in France during World War II.
